Hey neighbors, sorry that the August premium is coming in September, but there will be a September premium in September as well, and maybe a third one because I feel like I dropped the ball somewhere a few months back. I would say I've not been feeling very premium lately, and that's true, but really what it is, is that I always want to make the premium content something different and special, and I get stumped. But maybe this more relaxed, conversational approach, where I just tell you all very directly what's in my mind and how it goes into the Dispatch, is more valuable. I think it's a form of therapy for me, if you'll indulge me. I'm very direct by nature, and when the opportunity arises, as it so seldom does, I prefer to say exactly what I'm thinking. Part of the reason this is such a lonely age is that people are rather justifiably afraid to be honest and forthright. The world we've created is one of material and emotional precarity, and the better world to come has to ensure emotional as well as material security for all. We do it the same way, by rejecting the myth of scarcity and making the abundance guarded so tightly and needlessly available to all. But this isn't at all what I really want to talk about.
